Carlos Prince was born in Panama and currently resides in Hopewell Junction, NY. He honorably served 31 years in the United States Air Force, attached to the 514th Civil Engineer Squadron.
Today Carlos runs his own HVAC business called Pana Breeze, is working on his A.A. in Political Science, and sits on NYS Senator (41st Dist.) Sue Serino's Veteran Advisory Committee. Carlos joined The Alliance because of his drive to help see Veterans succeed in their civilian lives.

Anthony Kavouras was born in the Bronx, NY. He honorably served 34+ years in the United States Air Force and spent most of those years with the 105th Security Forces squadron, Including a deployment to Afghanistan with the 755th Expeditionary Security Forces, "Reaper 7". A charter member of the HVVA, as well as a founding member of the SUNY Dutchess Veterans Club. He was instrumental in establishing a Veterans Resource Center at SUNY Dutchess, and is also a Vet2Vet peer mentor through the PFC Dwyer Program. Anthony also sits on Several Boards: NYS Senate (41st dist.) Sue Serino's Veterans Advisory Committee, and NYS Representative (18th dist.) Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney, Dutchess County Veteran Affairs Committee. He Co-Chairs the Dutchess County Veteran Task Force Dutchess County and Chairs the Adult Mental Health Subcommittee. Since Jan 2015 Anthony has been working full time helping Veterans who are homeless or soon to be homeless find permanent housing and then sustaining that housing by helping them find employment, file for VA benefits and/or Social Security benefits and transportation. He first worked for Hudson River Housing’s Veteran Program and is now working for Mental Health America’s Vet2Vet Program as the Housing, Empowerment, Reintegration, and Occupation (H.E.R.O.) Program Manager. Anthony is married to
Jacqueline Kavouras, has four adult children and four grandchildren.

Joel Bruce grew up in Carbondale, Illinois and served honorably as a Forward Observer for the United States Marine Corps. He was discharged in 2012, having served two combat tours overseas and attaining the rank of Sergeant. He finished his Associates Degree and received his certification for welding from John A Logan College in Southern Illinois. He moved to New York in 2017 to finish his Bachelor’s in Computer Science/ Information Security. Joel is responsible for the HVVA’s social media, records of attendance/ inventory, safety, and security. He joined the HVVA to continue to help other veterans and create community through each other.
Zack Kirchner is from Poughkeepsie, NY. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed with the 1st Marine Division in Southern California with 1st Air and Naval gunfire liaison company. He has since received a A.S in Computer Science and currently he is working on his B.S in Computer science, and is an aspiring voice over artist. He is a charter member of the HVVA and is also one of the founders of the SUNY Dutchess Veterans Club and resource lounge.
In addition to being our Treasurer, Zack serves as the website administrator, He currently occupies a position on the Veterans Advisory Committee with NYS Representative (18th Dist.) Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney
