2018 in Highlights: Veterans Assisted

So far this year two veterans, both single mothers with more than one child, received a car that was desperately needed to help keep their employment.


We have assisted with one veteran paying off her car and reversing repossession process, ensuring she can keep her car for years to come.


We helped an elderly veteran obtain a motorized scooter.


We are currently assisting a veteran get the tools he needs for his mechanic business as he recovers from homelessness.


We have assisted 6 veterans with emergency utility and energy assistance, we are currently assisting veteran by prevent his electric from being disconnected.


We have assisted 7 veterans, some with families, with temporary housing.


We have assisted 4 veterans with auto insurance and registration issues.


We have assisted 4 veterans with communication obstacles such as telephone and internet.


We assisted one veteran by helping her family travel from out of state to help her, as she was mentally ill and living in a vehicle.


We have assisted 3 veterans with gas cards and gas money.
